The Best of 2023 Mix

Every year around this time, for almost as long as I can remember being on the internet, I’ve done a “best albums of the year” kind of list, whether it was for KEXP, or a random blog, or just something I shared on social media. This year I decided to couple that list with a mix of 40 songs… that’s one song from each of the 36 albums that I’ve spent a good amount of time with in 2023 along with a few honorable mentions, a.k.a. singles that just stood out or weren’t even on album… like this new one from Lowkey.
